my profile

My name is Ahmed Alzaabi. I’m 22 years old and I’m married. I’m a student at Abu-Dhabi Men’s College. My major is Civil Engineering. I like this major because I like to work with rocks and steel. I have a good relationship with many students and the staff in the college. I have many hobbies like swimming, horse riding but my favorite thing is watching car racing. As a result, I always customize my car to make it the best. I have been abroad many times but the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited was Germany.

In my free time I like to go to watch horror movie or to drive around with my friends. I always like to spend my weekend in Dubai.

The definition of Global Warming

Global warming is the gradual increase in global temperatures
caused by the emission of gases that keep the sun heat in the
earth. Gases that cause to global warming include
carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxides, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs),
and halocarbons (the replacements for CFCs). The carbon dioxide
emissions are usually cause by the use of fossil fuels for energy.

The gradual rise of the earth's surface temperature also be caused
by the greenhouse effect and responsible for changes in global
climate .

In the past they thought global warming caused by natural influence,
but now they know the mean cause is the carbon emission and
greenhouses.

Causes of Global Warming

There are many causes of global warming, the first one
is Carbon Dioxide from Power Plants.
There are facts and statistics said that in 2002 about
40% of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions come from the
burn of fossil fuels for the electricity generation.

Another cause is is carbon emission from cars which is the most comment cause of global warming. The most series and dangerous one is the carbon emission from factories, the carbon emission from factories go street away the sky where it can effect directly on the earth.

There are also many causes but all of it are related to carbon dioxides where you can see it come from any place on the earth nowadays.

Effects of Global Warming

Global Warming affects all parts of the world from rising see levels to polar bears that are dying because of the melting of ice. The weather also couldn’t escape from global warming. The effects reach also to the agriculture. The climate change continually.

The temperature rise gradually. The problem is no body care about the effects and some people don’t even know about it. The effects now are not fully appearing yet. But the new generations will see and feel it’s and I think it will destroy the life in that time.

The effects can have good appearing in the north side of the earth where the ice start milting in their. And the life starts to destroy step by step.

UAE and Global Warming

In the UAE we found that it is one of the countries where can we see many signs of global warming and also many effects. People in the UAE use cars and air-conditions that’s why we see air conditions in any house you will visit.

The environmental agencies are putting planes to cut emissions, through reducing the use of air conditions. They try in many ways to apply there planes. But the need to live a good life which is somehow felt by the air conditioning every where.

They didn’t look at the problem from different sides and they didn’t put a care on the effects of our hot weather in our life.
